Band setlist app - build a setlist from any version
A setlist that can point at the live arrangement rather than the album cut, carries unreleased songs, puts key, BPM, and lyrics in front of the band in rehearsal, and prints a numbered stage sheet when you need paper on the monitors.
Build a setlist in BandVolt, drag songs into order, and link it to the gig or rehearsal on the band calendar. Each setlist can use any version of a song - the album cut, an extended live arrangement, or an abridged edit - and unreleased songs slot straight in, which no streaming playlist can do. A dedicated playback mode puts key, BPM, lyrics, and time signature on screen for each song, and Print opens a clean numbered stage sheet for the monitors.
How it works
Build a named setlist from your band's library, drag songs into running order, and optionally pin which mix version each entry uses - or leave it tracking the song's active mix. Link one setlist to multiple calendar events when the same set runs across a run of shows.
Dedicated playback mode puts key, BPM, lyrics, and time signature on screen for each song, so rehearsals do not stall on juggling lyric sheets and hunting for the key. When you need paper on stage, Print from the setlist menu opens a minimal numbered sheet - title and song order, large type, nothing else to squint at under house lights.
What you can do
Rehearse the extended live arrangement, play the abridged edit in a short slot, and drop unreleased songs straight into the set - something a streaming playlist can never hold. Edit titles and descriptions as the set evolves.
Walk into rehearsal with the same setlist the gig will use, already tied to the calendar event - and print the stage sheet from that same shared list so nobody is playing from a screenshot of a Google Doc.
Why it matters
Spotify playlists only hold released masters. Bands need to rehearse the versions they actually play, plus keys and lyrics in view, and a readable order taped to the monitor. A purpose-built setlist turns the library you already maintain into the set the band prepares from - and prints.
