Most music projects do not fail because the ideas are weak. They fail because the process around those ideas gets noisy.
WhatsApp for communication. Google Drive for files. Voice memos for half-formed ideas. A spreadsheet for the setlist. Another for who paid what. Notes for lyrics. A separate calendar for gigs.
It should not be this hard.
Feedback that lands
When you write “tighten up the verse” in the group chat, it is buried within the hour. BandVolt pins comments to the waveform - at the exact second - so “0:39 - the triplets feel rushed” stays attached to the track forever.
Every version, in order
No more final_FINAL_v3.mp3. Every mix iteration is labelled, dated, and chronological. Quick Compare lets you flip between versions at the same playback position and hear what changed.
The whole show, one place
Gigs on the calendar. Setlists linked to events. Files for EPKs and tech riders. Income, expenses, and receipts in a band ledger everyone can see. Activity timelines on every song and band record the full history - uploads, member changes, finances, and more - so nothing lives only in the group chat.
BandVolt exists for musicians who still write, record, rehearse, and perform together - who care about the craft and the messy human process of making something worth hearing.
